Medway Council's Cityark Entries on the Local Workhouses - This page gives an introduction to the local workhouses, as well as details of the records they have and how to view them.
The BBC History Site - The BBC's "Century Road" series featured Century Road, Rainham, Kent. One of the residents interviewed had spent some time in Chatham Workhouse, and part of the interview with him is in this part of their website.
